Remarkable Highlights From the 2024 Muslim Women’s Day
We are still into the feels!
Our 2024 Muslim Women’s Day was an absolute whirlwind of emotions, a spectacle of love and solidarity that left us mesmerized and utterly spellbound. A day of reflection and renewal alongside our friends, loved ones, media moguls and allies, we were humbled by the vibrancy of this day as we paid homage to the indomitable spirit of Muslim women as we chart a course toward a future as glowing and bright as the stars themselves for all Muslim women everywhere.
Amidst the kaleidoscope of memories that Muslim Women’s Day has evoked in us, enrapturing us by the sheer magic of it all, we have compiled for you the highlights that have been flickering through our minds.

Presented in collaboration with the dynamic forces of change at the University of Mary Washington, including the impassioned voices of Students for Justice in Palestine, the unwavering solidarity of the Islamic Student Alliance, the steadfast advocacy of the Muslim Student Association, and the boundless energy of the Fredericksburg Muslim Youth, University of Mary Washington’s on-campus art event Muslim Women’s Day Art Demonstration got us stoked for our invincible Muslim women and girls.
Dawson Women’s Shelter
From the chilly waters of the Yukon River in Canada, a beacon of warmth and solidarity emerges in the form of the Dawson Women’s Shelter. Their presence this year serves as a poignant reminder to Muslim women in Canada that no matter the distance or the obstacles they face, they are never alone.
Remedial Herstory Project (RHP)
As we celebrate the remarkable achievements of Muslim women and girls who are making history in our day and age, RHP joins us to spotlight the enduring legacies of Muslim women across the centuries — and we are so here for it.
