Pudgy Penguins Flips BAYC’s Floor Price, Alters NFT Hierarchy

Following a period of eager expectation, Pudgy Penguins finally flips Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) through a sudden shift in its floor price.

According to the latest Blur data, Pudgy Penguins’ floor price has climbed to $47,064 (13.47 ETH), spotlighting its growing market presence.

Conversely, the floor price of BAYC is trailing behind at $43,814 (12.54 ETH), leading to a close call between the two PFP NFT collections, with just a 7.15% price tag difference.

Over the past 24 hours, Pudgy Penguins has seen a spike in sales, hitting $1,824,601 (522.21 ETH). BAYC is pretty close, garnering $1,494,698 (427.79 ETH) during this same timeframe.

BAYC, however, leads with a strong market cap of $437.85 million (125,315 ETH). Pudgy Penguins is hot on its heels with a valuation of $418.27 million (119,712 ETH), indicating another close battle for dominance.

Still, CryptoPunks remains ahead, boasting a floor price of $160,797 (45.99 ETH) and an eye-boggling market cap of $1.60 billion (459,900 ETH), setting a high bar for the other ETH PFPs.
