6 Reasons Why Dr. Jill Stein is the Best Candidate on Palestine
Forget about Kamala Harris.
When it comes to standing up for Palestine, there’s one voice in the cramped sphere of American politics that’s impossible to ignore: Dr. Jill Stein. While others play it safe, this woman is breaking barriers and shaking up the conversation.
Want to know how? We’re breaking down the six reasons why Dr. Jill Stein is the pro-Palestinian leader we need right now.
1. Choosing a Pro-Palestinian Black Muslim as her running mate
If you think Dr. Jill Stein is here to play by the rules, you’re 100% wrong, fella. Just look at her groundbreaking announcement about her running mate. She’s chosen none other than Dr. Butch Ware, the brilliant historian at the University of California who’s Black, Muslim, and unapologetically pro-Palestinian.
So get ready because this duo is about to shake the status quo in ways we’ve never seen before.
2. Confronting pro-genocide voices at Columbia University
Remember when Dr. Jill Stein took the mic at Columbia University and didn’t hold back? She confronted pro-genocide agitators head-on while hitting the nail on the head with her powerful message: “Opposing genocide is a Jewish value.” Stein isn’t here to tiptoe around the truth; she’s here to demand justice as Jewish herself.
The cherry on top was her telling an unhinged agitator, “Ignore that 0.1% who is mandating genocide right now.”
3. Getting targeted by police officers during a peaceful protest in St. Louis
If you thought Jill Stein’s activism was just talk like Kamala Harris, think again. At Washington University in St. Louis, she was arrested while fiercely advocating for Palestinian rights. The arrest was just the beginning, as she narrated that she was falsely convicted of assault. “I got separated from the rest of the crowd, you know, and actually initially felt like there was a lot of safety in numbers. Then, it turned out I was being charged with assault after being assaulted by an officer using a bicycle and basically thrown onto my head,” she said after her release.
Did that incident make her stop? Not in the least.
